"A great 1 night stay. From the first welcome, an excellent room, a good nights slerp and a great breakfast not sure what else to add. Be aware though that traffic noise in our room may annoy some people, luckily not us but ear plugs were provided if needed."

"We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay. From our welcome to us leaving everything was just perfect. We were visiting family & arrived late the first night so went to the local pub as advised by Joss. Beautiful home cooked steak pie. Slept well & comfortable all 3 nights. Breakfast was lovely & fresh each day. Joss & team extremely warm and inviting. Nothing is too much trouble. Situated very close to Bath & Longleat so was perfect for our stay. "Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot. "
