"It was clean but everything is broken. The pool and hot tub wasn't usable. The elevator button didn't light up to let you know that you had pushed it. The ice machine was broken. Another person said it had been broken for months. The blow dryer in the room was broken and the staff didn't know where a spare was kept. The coffee machine outside the breakfast area was also broken. We checked out after one night knowing that we forfeited the money paid for a second night because it was nonrefundable. "
"Following Issues: Ripped Bedding, Musty Air Conditioner, Coffee Maker Broken, Soap Scum in Shower, Empty Tissues, only 1 roll of toilet paper.
Poorly Maintained Room (loose floorboards around AC unit), Bathroom door will not close.
No fruits or pastries in the Continental Breakfast...
Overall condition is poor. "
"Awesome historical inn. The rooms were filled with antiques and the history was wonderful. We were on the 3rd floor, next to the main street, which was pretty loud in our room, though we were so tired each evening, it didn't affect our sleeping. There is only a elevator to the 2nd floor, so you have to carry your luggage to the 3rd floor. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious. We ate at the restaurant both nights, outdoor seating was great, and so was the food! Highly recommend this lovely historical inn!"
"They offer you candy when checking in.
I must have looked at a different place to stay and accepted this one by mistake. Expedia had us wanting a smoking room?
The room was clean but had a strange smell. It has only a space heater for heat. It is supposed to drop in the teens tonight. There is a unit in it that is supposed to be a heat/air conditioner that does not heat. Was charged $150.00 deposit incase we smoked in the room or for incidentals. Which we had no idea about! Which is ridiculous as we don’t smoke and have no pets we are old boring people. Won’t ever book this place again. The guy that came to the check-in window did speak English but he had to call someone else to help him on the phone. Then spoke to this other guy in his Hindi language. So whatever they talked about we didn’t understand. If you love a cold room this is the place for you. "
