The room was above a bar which played loud music until 11pm. There were youngsters outside shouting and talking until around the same time. Quite a noisy stay albeit a Saturday night which we were not made aware of. The room was clean and comfortable just a little dated.

Nice small hotel with character
Very nice hotel, great location and friendly helpful staff. The room was surprisingly big and the place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great too! The hotel has no dedicated car park but there is plenty of safe parking available near the hotel. We will definitely be back and would recommend the Victoria hotel to anyone considering a stay in Blairgowrie.

Hosts were great….the other guests who congregated outside our room to LOUDLY FaceTime at 11:00 PM were not!

We stayed here for one night and could not fault it. Yes it is dated but it is an old building and adds to the character. The owner was lovely and spent time chatting to us next morning Full English breakfast was good too. We would return to this hotel if we ever in the area again.

Walking Cateran Trail
Stayed 2 nights whilst walking Cateran trail. Bar was closed on the nights i stayed so found it quiet- room was large with 4 single beds in it( i was travelling solo) So felt very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Lots of yea, coffee, biscuits and sweets for guest use. Host was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was extra but was good value for money. For what i paid for 2 nights i thought was excellent value for money.

Stayed here for the night, asked for an earlier check in and the hotel sorted this out quickly. Nice big room for 3 of us. Breakfast was lovely even though I was too hungover to eat it all.

The room we were in was very small, but it was adequate. The bathroom was very old fashioned but again not really a problem. Everything was clean. Our problem was the bar down the stairs. It was packed to capacity with what can only be described as young guys who were pretty out if it. And night a lot if them were on the streets outside with beer bottles. The noise was ridiculous. One of the managers from another pub said anyone who is barred from other bars in the area, go to the Victoria bar! Says it all. Avoid if you want a quiet night.

We drove up and it looked like a pretty sketchy hotel but we were pleasantly surprised with the room and had a great night of music and mixing with the locals in the pub downstairs. If yo are looking for something off the beaten path and authentic Scotland this is the place to go.

Excellent!!
We had a lovely 2 night stay, hosts were very welcoming, room was clean and had everything we needed, wifi was good too, our room was above the bar which was a bit noisy but all the noise stopped at 11pm closing time so we still got a great nights sleep. Hotel is right in the heart of Blairgowrie with lots of pubs, beer gardens, convenience stores, antique and vintage shops right on the doorstep, we will definitely stay here again. We didnt have the breakfast so couldnt comment on that.

Frienldy family run hotel
This hotel is run by a friendly couple who have invested in the building by improving the layout and renewing furnishings. I have stayed here quite a few times over the past four years and the room is always clean and tidy.

Poor service and very dated
Upon arrival the building looked as though the business has shut down. All closed up and no sign of life. Eventually door was opened by a girl who looked in utter shock at people waiting with bags. Another woman came and confirmed who we were, took us to our room and reminded us we didn’t get breakfast which we were aware of, then left. We never saw another member of staff again in the time we stayed there. Our room was never serviced either. It was very dated, bathroom door didn’t lock and i assume it was quite noisy out in corridors in evenings. No car parking either. I know you get what you pay for but I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this is probably the worst we have stayed at. Definitely would not return sadly as I don’t like to give poor reviews.

Quiet room over pub
Central in Blairgowrie, quieter than most pubs I've had a room over. Owner friendly and helpful. Just remember to book breakfast.
