The property is tucked away, in a lush and green wooded area. (Make sure you slow down and enjoy the Icelandic horses peeking over the fences!) The drive leading to the house is gravel, and there is a small parking lot next to the property.
The check-in process was confusing, and we would not have figured it out without the aid of another renter. (You go downstairs and click this remote control button to summon the host. There wasn’t any posted signage.)
The rooms were clean and very nicely appointed (albeit a tad warm). The bathroom was excellent with excellent water pressure.
The host was warm and welcoming, and he spoke excellent English. The breakfast that was included in the price was phenomenal (cook & serve yourself—eggs, cereal, oats, fruit, skÿr, pickled & curried herrings).
I would stay again!
