"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "I understand this is budget. But the room was so small it felt claustrophobic, we paid for a room with a window but couldn’t open it. The aircon didn’t work and staff didn’t help just said everyone’s having a problem it should work in a house….it didn’t for 2 days and with no window to open it was horrible. Bathroom glass door makes so much noise when closed and as room so small it’s right next to your ear. Zero amenities and not one shelf to put any luggage or clothes. Wouldn’t do it again almost slept in my car one night. Parking is 15 a night but nowhere did it say that on my booking and there was no answer from my message or calls to the hotel."

"Beautiful stay at The Store. It is in the centre of Oxford and in walking distance of all local restaurants and the new theatre. We arrived slightly early, but were able to complete pre check in and our bags were kept safely. We headed up to the terrace bar while waiting for our room - beautiful views! Every member of staff was exceptional, couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! We will definitely choose The store again on our next visit. Tip: if travelling by car - park at Westgate only a 5 minute walk to the hotel."

"A beautiful building just near Banbury Cross with a large carpark. It was only a short walk to the old town and through the shopping centre to the canal We enjoyed a modern well appointed large room with sofa and Smart TV in the main building. It was unfortunate that because we were in a corner there wasn't a view of the beautiful gardens. The dining room was contemporary and did have that view. The menu had something for everyone and the food was delicious and incredibly well priced. Portions were large and service great. A good buffet breakfast was available for a small extra on booking. Overall an excellent value overnight stay."
