Great room and easy to get to by walking from bus station. Even though it’s off a busy road, the room was quiet. Didn’t get to try out the pool since it was rainy and a bit chilly, but appreciated that it was there. It seemed a little dated in the bathroom, but still clean and usable. Staff was great.

The new river wing was awesome. The even had new washer and dryer free of charge. Friendly staff, room well maintaned and erverything new. Great location to discover wineries and city.

This is a lovely premise to stay in. Rooms good but getting a little tired. Obvious staff shortages like everywhere at this time. Restaurant was closed when we wished to eat there. Continental breakfast was available in our room which was helpful.

When we fist walked in it was like going to visit my grandparents in the rest home it just had that smell to it like it was a rest home. Then when we got to our room there was no toilet brush to clean after using the toilet. Asked at front desk for one they brought one to our room when handed to my wife it still hand some one else’s feces on it. Also in the corner of Barth room it had a pile of dirt from where they had swept the floors. The restaurant had a very limited menu.

We found this property very expensive for the type of room. We had little options as we were travelling through and there was limited availability. The room was booked for 4 people however there was no space for us to sit, dine or watch TV. If we were staying for longer the room would have been very uncomfortable to be in for a longer stay. The toilet seat in the bathroom would not stay up so was very frustrating to use. The staff were very friendly and helpful however I would have preferred the option of paying at the venue so to avoid the credit card fee.

Motel-style stay

I think this is a regular hotel for Blenheim; however, it was a bit like a motel park place. On the vintage side of things. The shower is no telephone-like and there were long hairs in the tub. The bed was very soft, but warm enough. There is no heating so it got a bit chilly overnight.
