The room is spacious, comfortable and brand new. The bed is excellent and the shower and bath have great water pressure. "This hotel is in a very old building. There is no lift, so you must carry your luggage up and down the stairs. We are older and found this to be difficult. The hotel is located close to the heart of town, so good from that perspective, but it is a 15 minute walk from the train station. There are no taxi's in Beaune, so the only way was to walk with luggage. This was challenging for us. There is come charm in an old building, but this didn't have it. The bathroom left much to be desired. There is a bathtub only, with a hand wand "shower", but nothing mounted to the wall to fasten the hand wand to so that one could "shower". Getting into and out of the tub was challenging, no hand rails or something hold onto. The hotel would benefit from offering car service to and from the train station."
