"Pros- beds were comfortable, it was quiet, full kitchen was great, self check-in went smoothly. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. "We were so happy with our choice to stay at the Alpine Lodge. The location could not have been better. Barbara, the owner, was so helpful in helping us plan our trip. She handled getting our lift tickets & bus passes prior to our arrival. Breakfast was available everyday downstairs if you wanted it or there’s a fabulous bakery down the road. "Lovely hotel, room, setting. Clean and spacious room. Although bad part was booking a table for a meal. After speaking to what looked like the bar manager he says 7pm so we had a drink at the bar to wait. He suggested nibbles which we had and got charged over the top for them 7pm came and went and we enquired if our table was ready at 7.20pm. he shrugged us off and ignored us after this so we ended up leaving at 7.45 to find a restaurant elsewhere.
