Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Our room was clean, breakfast was good, staff was kind and helpful. It was full when we stayed and everyone seemed to be having a good time.... It was REALLY not OK to have the only way to reach upper floors be through an unlocked exterior stair well. The cement stairwell was not locked so anyone could gain access to the hotel and it was so narrow that it was difficult getting your bags up to and down from the room.
First room had a broken door lock and bathroom outlets were broke, second room had a bad musty smell and visible mold in the bathroom.
Elevators were broken and pool was green and closed.
Coffee was staff were decent.
Breakfast was fresh when I had it, and parking was good, too. The staff was friendly, and one of the housekeepers said goodbye when he saw I was about to check out.
The hotel and room was clean but the shower curtain/liner needed to be changed out as it smelled very much like mildew. Other than that, our stay was good.
Very nice and affordable room. Rooms and property are very clean. We stayed 2 nights. We didn't use pool but saw staff cleaning it and it looked well maintained. Breakfast was well stocked and tasty. Housekeeping cleaned our room which we haven't seen much of at other hotels since the pandemic. Big plus was a complimentary charging station for our EV. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again with my family.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
The room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel really needs some upkeep in all areas. The pool was closed and the elevators were out of service. The breakfast was okay but again, everything needed some attention in the lobby. Not terrible, but some sprucing up is in order. I guess I got what I paid for because it was substantially less expensive than surrounding properties and I was glad I could find a room on a busy weekend for under a hundred. I did get a good night sleep, however because the room was fine. That was the most important thing.
When I interacted with staff, they were all very friendly. However, there was a used washcloth in the room. The towel rack was ready to fall off the wall. The conditioner was empty. One elevator had the lights but no cover for the floors and the other had no lights working. However, I'd have been okay with all of that if it had felt safer. It isn't a bad neighborhood or anything, but I came in late at night (after midnight), and no one was at the front desk or anywhere around it. I knew what room I had because I was joining my aunt there. I literally walked into the hotel, went all the way to the back where the elevators were, and up to my room without encountering anyone from the hotel. The front door was unlocked, so anyone else could have done the same.
