Lovely property, beautiful rooms and most staff great. Menus limited, events lacking, bar could be promoted and offerings (skeet shooting, hiking, use of lake) enabled by providing more assistance.

Meadowbrook Inn
The room was older but fairly tidy and clean. The staff was very helpful when my rental car broke down and enterprise rental left my wife and I stranded.

Blowing Rock Inn
Super clean. Perfect for walking downtown. Assigned parking space. Microwave, hair dryer, fridge, coffee station. Water not very hot in shower, though. Check-in was smooth. Overall, would stay here again!

Swiss Mountain Village
This is a cute resort with what appears to be privately owned units that are packaged as vacation rentals. Our unit was lacking basic hospitality items such as coffee filters for the coffee maker and salt and pepper— typical staples in rentals with full kitchens. No shampoo either in case you forgot ...
