"Gite des acacias is only 10min drive from the airport in a quiet area. There is no phone reception there, but Wifi is available. We took the diner option and were offered a traditional creole dinner. Given that the best area to go and have diner is Mahebourg, about 20min drive, it is better to go for the dinner at theirs. Excellent staff and Mr. Shreeni the manager is an asset for their company. He manages his clients efficiently. "Our home for the week was fantastic, clean and comfortable with the air conditioner being a saviour. The turn down service was great, though missed for a couple of nights or 3. Unfortunately there was no filter coffee in the room, although I had enquired about that before arrival, and was told that there was filter coffee. The various restaurants were good value food-wise, with the Teak elephant being the best, in our opinion. I used the gym a few times and was impressed with the equipment."
