"The rooms and the property are really pretty mediocre. Marriott and Aloft are connected, rooms must be pretty similar. Staff are friendly. Place seems more suited as a local convention center. Restaurants with 0 ambience. Bizarre, sterile rooms without any decoration. Feels like it was built in a hurry in 2 weeks by a Punta Cana construction company. Building is too high for this country; not sure if I would want to be inside if there were an earthquake.... I have also stayed in Courtyard Naco and it is a bit better."

"Everything about my stay was excellent. The hotel is clean, modern, and beautifully remodeled. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The terrace and pool area are beautiful, and the gym and sauna facilities are a great added bonus. I truly enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Santo Domingo every time I travel to the Dominican Republic, especially when I’m there with the people I love. It always feels like a reliable and enjoyable experience."

"at check in they didnt give me the room I booked and gave me a two bed instead of a king bed. not what I booked. After the first night 3 water leaks in the room. horrible all over our things. we are waiting to me moved of room its been 3 hrs. the staff is not helpfull. the restaurant has the worst service almost 1 hr waiting for food. this is not a 5 star hotel its qt maot a 2 star hotel."
