"Easy check-in and the desk personnel were very informative and helpful. Room was very clean and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast here. You had a variety of choices for breakfast including hot or cold. The lady that was handling the food was extremely polite and says she "makes the meal with love". Be sure and check out Mrs. Rowes across the street and the Virginia Made store as well."

"We appreciated our stay at Oakhurst Inn. The property is in a good location to the University and not far from downtown. Our room/bathroom was clean and the staff was very helpful. There is not much parking but they provide valet and on-street parking for you."

"This was our first Holiday Inn Express stay of our trip and we enjoyed it so much we picked HIE locations every night they were available! I appreciated the consistency of the room layouts, the check in process and the breakfast was full of great options. My only negative is the pool hours. Parents of tween/teen travelers could use a few more hours to let their kids get a break from traveling by swimming before bed. "
