Absolutely loved our stay at Mike Wiegele. Everyone was super nice, friendly and helpful and the room was clean, large and well laid out. Enjoyed paddle boarding on the lake and wished we could have stayed longer.

We were impressed with everything from the moment we arrived and were greeted by the friendliest and most helpful staff. But I have to say the most outstanding thing for me was the quality of your beds. It was the first pain free night I’ve had in many years. So much so I’m researching the purchase of a new box spring and mattress that will be the same brand etc. We will definitely be returning next week on our way home.

The whole property is incredible. Every single cottage is a log cabin and the workmanship of the building we were in was outstanding. Every other building appeared to be the same . This place looks like it can accommodate a couple or large groups. Frankly we were not expecting what we found when arriving but we would recommend this place to anyone that finds themselves in the areas of Blue river. Our only complaint was that the temperature of the room was on the cool side and we could not adjust the temperature.

Very cool property. Beautiful landscaping. Beautiful log cabins. Very helpful staff. Wish we could have stayed longer. We had a cabin to ourselves and was more than plenty of space for our family of 4 and 2 big dogs. We will make it an annual stop on our way to the coast!

We had a wonderful one-night stay in Blue River, especially at Mike's Place! Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The rain shower was absolutely amazing—the perfect way to relax after a day of traveling. One of the highlights was fishing in the private pond, where we caught a few beautiful rainbow trout. It made our stay even more memorable. Overall, this was the perfect stop on our journey. We highly recommend Mike's Place to anyone passing through Blue River!
