Great location and wonderful views. Very friendly owner who goes above and beyond to help. Very good breakfast. Excellent base for visiting Stewart Island.

Friendly happy staff, ok breakfast, a little pricey for what it is overall. Room small and single glazed windows, walls paper thin and view of a ramp and bins. Would recommend to book a sea view room.

I ended up choosing this hotel because no hotels in nearby Invercargill seemed to be available. (I got the suite - the last room available at the time.) The manager was very friendly, and the breakfast was good. (My only complaint is that the 1-hour window (8am-9am) for breakfast was too short.)
