We booked a luxury double room, yet upon arrival we were assigned a standard room, which does not align with the confirmed reservation. After raising the issue, we were informed that no appropriate room was available and were offered a double room with two standard beds, which does not constitute a comparable replacement.
More concerning was the suggestion that we should have booked two separate rooms, despite having made a reservation that included a couple with a child. This response indicates a lack of accountability and a misunderstanding of basic customer expectations.
The matter was reported during the stay, but no effective resolution was provided.
While the physical structure of the hotel is satisfactory, the inconsistency between what is sold and what is delivered, combined with the handling of the situation, significantly impacts the overall experience.
