Exceptional service, decent rooms

Host was the best I could imagine. She helped us with all sorts of service like early check-in, booking tours and travel to our next place. The rooms were unfortunately not as good so takes the rating down. Drain was clogged in our first room. AC did not work to heat or dry the rooms so it was very moist and cold and we were freezing through the night. I can imagine this place being much better on a warm summer day when that is not a problem and the pool also being more useful.

This property wasn’t in great condition. The pool needed some love, it had stains and had green algae growing on the metal fixtures. The paint was peeling off of the pool chairs and it didn’t look comfortable. The bedding wasn’t great, the bed was uncomfortably firm and the AC wasn’t working well. We left and found accommodation somewhere else.

Great hosts!

Gem and Tuon were wonderful and attentive hosts. They were always available to help. They drove us wherever we wanted to go. Unfortunately my boyfriend was sick almost the entire stay (from before we arrived) and they brought us food from their restaurant as he wasn’t able to go out. They were so kind and lovely and we had a great stay. We weren’t able to do too much in the way of excursions because of illness but they had loads of recommendations and tours available to book through them.

The hosts here are the best we've ever had. If you have any questions or concerns they really go above and beyond to accommodate you. Very nice, thoughtful family running the place, they'd even messaged me to make sure we were safe after we spent the day and some of the evening away. We had an issue with one of our motorbikes and Hue the host walked us to the mechanic and helped us get a good price on a fix. At first we didn't know the room was as far from Phrong Nhas tourist spot as it was and we thought we were gonna move closer but we ended up enjoying our peaceful stay there so much that we stayed another 4 nights. It's only a 5 minute motorbike ride to town after all. Restaurant highlights were: Underground for the best coffee in Vietnam, great food, lil more on the expensive side in town but worth the value, we go once a day at least. Central Backpackers Hostel for cheap good tasting food, lively younger atmosphere with lots of activities and deals going on all week. Easy Tiger was comparable. Phong Nha Bamboo Cafe for cheap good food and a typical restaurant atmosphere. We also checked out Paradise Cave and it was well worth the 250k dong a head. Felt like we were on another planet. Be prepared to walk 1 km up to the mouth of the cave or pay extra for a ride on a golf cart and another km into the heart of the cave. So much to do and explore in/around this small town!

Amazing

Amazing Place and great bungalows. Great Price and great value for the money. Fine breakfast and restaurant, clean pool, And friendly staff. Only thing is that Sometimes the children Living there Are fighting, and then the father does not treat Them Well afterwards. Harsh to see. Great stay all in all. Would definetly recommend. Also good helping to find great tours.

Beautiful and clean bungalows in a great location. The family and staff are so friendly and helpful. They organized a tour and a bus for us, picking us up and dropping us off themselves. They made us feel welcome and comfortable after check out while we waited for our bus. Their food is good as well.

Amazing pool with super friendly staff !

We really enjoyed our stay at the Phong Na Hillside View Bungalow. The Bungalows are brand new. The owner, his family and the hotel staff were so nice to us. We booked our Ruc Mon cave adventure, pick up from Dong Hoi airport and transport to Hoi An through the hotel staff. Hue the hotel administrator was so easy to deal with ! A real bonus for this hotel is that the owners are also restaurateurs in Phong Na. We enjoyed getting delicious restaurant meals delivered to the bungalow for no additional charges. After a full day of cave adventure this was just what we needed. No need to travel looking for food and cheap beers ! We loved meeting the family and eating our meals in the common area. Our stay felt more like a home stay experience. One last thing ... the swimming pool is amazing !!

Excellent choix! Hôtel très récent, très propre, grandes chambres, fabuleuse piscine et surtout, accueil et service exceptionnels. Ce fut de loin le meilleur établissement de notre voyage de trois semaines au Vietnam. Après seulement deux nuits, nous sentions que nous faisons partie de la famille! Nous avons eu des conseils exceptionnels concernant les excursions et visites à faire dans la région. Un peu à l’écart du centre, ce qui était parfait pour être au calme. Facile de se rendre au centre avec les vélos prêtés. Super!

Highly Recommend, Sweetest Couple Manages Property

Loved our stay here. There's a husband and wife that takes care of the entire property (it's a small 6 bungalow place). They're super sweet and attentive to all the guests and they speak good English as well. The location is not far from the main town of Phong Nha so it was nice and quiet at night. We would highly recommend staying here. Pro Tip: If you come during summer, put the AC on "powerful" mode. It works a lot better!
