"Booking site said it was ocean front - which it technically is - but beach access is a 5 minute walk, more if your like me with a handicap. Staff was not friendly- one was downright rude/condescending "

"Room had food and womens hair scrunchies on the floor. Needed a better cleaning and vacuuming. Limited view was air conditioning units!"

"Lack of parking space. Very slow checking process although Front desk staff was attentive and polite. All resort amenities shut down by 6pm and not when the sun goes down. After 6pm there’s no much to do but to maybe enjoy the beach because most of the amenities except for pools were pretty much shut down. Not fun not enough time to enjoy the the slide or paddle boats amenities and big slide everything shut down way to early"

"It was okay. Resort fees provided nothing we would use. On top of resort fees, you must pay for parking, and pay to reserve/use the cabanas. Our last day, the maids didn't even service our room. And the one night we ordered room service, it was kind of a nightmare...once we got the food, it was not good. All that aside, it is an older resort, that is maintained in pretty good shape. Great launching pad to explore Tampa and surrounding beaches."

"We will be going back! They had everything in one place. We loved the pool. They have pretty much anything guests need at the beach. Chairs, towels, toys. Rooms are spotless and seem to have all been recently updated."

"Pros - The property was cleaned and the staff were accommodating and pleasant. I had two terraces with beautiful views. The pool was nicely maintained and plenty of seating. Cons - Couch was a bit old and sank when you sat. The outdoor hot tub is outdated and not working properly in terms of jets and water temp. The pool drinks are very overpriced for size and quality and so is the self park fees of $37 per day. Overall, I would return because the pros outweigh the cons but would love to see some reasonable changes"

"Can't wait to stay here again. Affordability, friendly/helpful staff, easy parking, great location, loved being on the marina watching the boats come and go while sitting by the pool. More entertaining than just staring at the beach in my opinion. The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Big, spacious room. Great pool bar and so many good food choices. Can't say enough wonderful things. If I had to be picky for areas to improve on, not the softest towels or sheets, room/bathroom could use a lot more hooks to hang towels, swimsuits, etc, and the hot tub could have used a deep clean. Water looked cloudy with a lot of dirt particles and dead bugs floating around. Maybe something was wrong with the filter? Regardless, this will be our go to when we are back on the West coast!"
