"The bar was awesome for a quick drink, unfortunately the bartender closed an hour early because “not many customers “. That was unfortunate as there were several people interested. He said that he was told by management if there is not many customers then he can close at 10 pm instead of 11 pm."

"The Southern Hotel is our new favorite place. Everything was above par.One of the desk clerks was interested in history. My great grandfather opened The Southern Hotel as a hospital in the early 1900s. Later building "The Fenwick Sanatarium" she had read about it. Her interest made me feel special. The restaurant was excellent, my husband couldn't stop talking about how good the Shrimp and grits were. We live in "Cajun" country and are known for our food. This bested it and the presentation was perfect. "
