"Cons: Check in was hectic with a long wait. Then they had me booked into a one bedroom when I had booked a 2bd and then was told they would check for a 2bd… whatttt? Thank goodness they had one, but what would have happened if they hadn’t!
Pros: Jesse checked me in and she was very good! They also DO NOT make you have to listen to a “time share” spiel.. so that was AWESOME!
Pros: the cottages are nice and spacious! Our 2nd had 2 1/2 baths, an upstairs and downstairs (bedrooms downstairs and main living upstairs). Plenty of eating space!
Cons: very minimalistic amount of blankets and sheets (we did a lot of laundry. Bring detergent). No spices or special pans for baking!
Big Pros: the property and grounds are nice! Lots of parking at the clubhouse/check in. Huge indoor pool! Several outdoor pools! Activity center w/Bingo, crafts, games, movies (ladies are great). Close to Busch and water country (2mi)
Overall great stay!!"
"I like the property everyone was helpful and kind. The breakfast was good however they should change it up a little bit everyone doesn’t eat pork and they can use more variety of muffins also there was no cheese. They only have one microwave which is ok but the amount of people trying to heat up food they would need another one or maybe an air fryer or convection oven. And maybe a game room for the children the location is great we love it cause it right across from water country USA. And not to far from Busch gardens. May in the future you guys can have a shuttle van that take you to the parks"
Hampton Inn & Suites Williamsburg Historic District
8/10 Good
"The Hampton Inn was in a very good place to be able to visit the sights in the area. We spent the day at Busch Gardens which was about a 10 minute ride. We were exceptionally close to the historic part or the old restored town of Williamsburg which we didn't even realize until we accidentally drove into it. Perhaps the Inn might like to have a paper that describes what you can see in the area. They did have other useful information available like restaurant names which we used.
Other Hampton Inns have the breakfast cereal individually packaged instead of sitting in a huge glass tube. And the milk available is skim or 2% but other Inns have regular full-fat milk which we prefer. However, all in all, we felt this inn was a good value."
