"There are several nice places on the property to relax, see the views, or have a bite to eat. It’s thoughtfully arranged. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with choices to address everyone’s wants. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Nearby is the botanical garden, a treat to wander through. "

"Staff were helpful, the room was clean and parking was on site which was nice. The grounds around the hotel were quite nice which had many orange and lemon trees loaded with fruit. Pool was being cleaned when we were there and we would not go into the pool even though staff said that we could. It was quite dirty. The hotel is about a 20 minute ride into the heart of Coimbra. We would recommend a taxi or Uber since parking is very hard to find in Coimbra. "

"Very pleasant stay. Lovely staff, perfect position in Coimbra. Can’t comment on parking because I walked and public transport. Very very close to Coimbra A station. Lovely breakfast. Very close to old city and university. Very close to very good restaurants. Nice size room. Lovely bed and sheets etc. Very quiet. "

"Love the hotel. Breakfast and staff. Was an annoyed that we arrived hungry and one of the staff members recommended a place for lunch that cost us 153 euro. That’s very expensive for lunch anywhere in the world. Don’t ask hotel for restaurant recommendations. There are plenty of please to eat for 10 percent of that amount. "

"This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! It was truly a magical location surrounded by enchanted gardens and forest! The architecture of the building was gorgeous. The staff were super helpful and friendly! All of the food was amazing. I would recommend this stay to everyone! It is a must! "
