Slottet er under renovering, og man fornemmer at de nye ejere gør meget ud af, at alle detaljer er perfekte.
Den værelsesfløj vi boede i var færdigrenoveret, og værelset var meget stort og velindrettet med sans for de små detaljer. Til værelset var der en terrasse med udsigt over søen.

"A hidden place a short bit from A24 and A19, perfect for a short stay when passing by but also tempting for a summer visit as there was a lot of activities like fishing, hiking, outdoor barbeque and eep forrests surrounding the place. "An absolutely delightful boutique hotel overlooking the shores of Lake Muritz, and in the Old-Town area of Waren close to all amenities, restaurants, shops etc. Originally built as a young-ladies 'Finishing School' in the late 1800's, the hotel is full of period-atmosphere and history, and the decor and furniture reflects this. Our room was a really good size, and also had a period sofa, desk and coffee table, as well as a modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast was a real treat of home-made and local produce, along-with cereals, muesli, breads etc. The owners speak very little English, but with my school-boy German (or Google-Translate would also work), they couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful with advice. The small additional charge for car-parking is very good value for Waren, where on-street charges can be quite expensive. If you are looking to stay in Waren and would like personal service, friendliness and a beautiful hotel with charm and history, then this is your place! (Note the opening hours of the reception desk - the hotel is unable to take late arrivals, which you should plan around.)
