"(I was told they should be getting a remodel in about a year from this posting as of 6/29/2026.)
We were visiting family, so we didn't visit the restaurant or bar at all, but I've heard it's good though. The staff were all friendly and helpful and gave out free, warm, walnut chocolate chip cookies whenever asked for. They have an "Incidentals" hold of $50 in case you want something from the lobby or elsewhere in the hotel. The selection was ok for convenient things to purchase in the lobby.
The outdoor pool was decently large & bean shaped with a small water fall to be aesthetically pleasing I suppose. Plenty of seating too. Nearby within the same fence, there was a place to play Corn Hole & I think a Putting game. There are rooms that have small balconies that face the poolside away from the road; these may be quieter than the other side of the hotel.
The gym had equipment for most exercises I think and washers & dryers are available on each floor for $2.50 each machine... plus ice machines. A coffee machine, mini fridge, & microwave were all provide for within the room along with 2 bottles of Niagara water. The bed was about half soft and half firm. The wifi was good enough to use for casual gaming, but if you want to use a hdmi port on the TV then you'll need to unplug their own device from HDMI 1.
My only other qualm was 1 shower at around 4am took around 10 minutes to really warm up. Oddly enough, the other showers were fine."
"The room was clean and modern. I'd suggest having a loveseat or chair in the room for extra seating.
Also, since the pool is in the interior and close to rooms, perhaps some type of rug for the water..a little hazardous"
"The properties absolutely beautiful. It’s intimate and comfortable. I would love to come back again when the weather is cool and the fireplaces are going.
Opportunities:
The lack of luggage carts made for labor intensive in and out.
Availability of dishes, and utensils would be appreciated."
"Super clean and comfortable suite we stayed in with our 2 dogs. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will be looking for a Candlewood IHG everytime now!"
