This was a weird hotel, its perfect for northern lights, the actual rooms were the weird part, theres plenty of unused space, theres no mini fridge and the upstairs is very small, (im 4'11) and was uncomfortable up there, however the skylight was nice for the lights. Breakfast was ok, European breakfast is different from American, but there was a nice selection and it was constantly being refilled. The staff was incredibly nice, when checking out the receptionist asked where we were heading, drew up a map and wrote down a bunch of recommended things for us to do that day, roads to take ect.

This was a perfect stop over before leaving Iceland the next day. Hotel staff is welcoming, friendly and informative. The room was spotless, the bedding comfortable, and it was extremely quiet. I would definitely recommend!

The staff were super helpful! As soon as we arrived, we were given recommendations on how to spend our first night in the area - without that insight we wouldn’t have ended up at the local hot spring spa, Krauma. Breakfast was delicious!

The location was beautiful, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was was adequate. The blackout curtains did hold up to the midnight sun, bring an eye mask and that helps.

The room was clean and spacious with a little loft that my grandson took over as his space. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with all my questions. The breakfast food was delicious and fresh; kept filled during the whole time. Parking had a bit to be desired but all in all it's a great place. Loved our stay there.

The area where the hotel was located was very peaceful and scenic. The property was clean and the staff was helpful and the breakfast was very good. However, the bathroom door or door frame in our room was warped and made a horrible squealing sound when you tried to close it all the way. This was irritating especially at night when someone had to use the bathroom,

I want to give a better review. I rented two rooms for our party of 4 for one night. The hotel was nice, breakfast was good, and access was pretty easy. The beds were comfortable. However, two of our party who stayed in one of the rooms got tons of bug bites despite keeping the door and window closed to keep the midges out. The two in the other room were fine. Not sure if it was bugs from outside or bed bugs as I didn't learn about it until after we had left.
