We stayed at an old hotel with outdated facilities. The safe in our room wasn’t working, and although we asked the elderly man who appeared to be the only staff member on duty to fix it, he never did.
To make things worse, when we returned from a party at around 2 AM, the signboard light had been switched off, so we couldn’t find the hotel easily in the dark. There was also no one at the front desk to assist us."
"This was the hidden gem of our whole trip. We were not expecting the absolute over the top hospitality provided by the owner Fulvio. The passion and wiliness to provide an above average stay was unrivaled. The room was very nice and comfortable, and with the attention to detail from Fulvio, you had everything you would ever need at your disposal. The views from this place were beyond words. The drive up was amazing, and not for the faint of heart as the single lane road was twisty and with steep drop-offs. Can not recommend this place more if we tried. The breakfast was also very over the top and delicious. And to top it off, the lemon tree by the spa was my partners favorite part."
