"The room was clean the property was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful but tell me why I spent $175 a night and the air conditioning didn't work very well. I could not set the temperature less than 69 and according to the ac control it never went below 72 degrees. It was 112 it side and it was not even very refreshing to come inside. I can't stand to be hot and sweaty in my sleep I actually pulled the couch bed out and slept on that uncomfortable thing in the living room where the ceiling fan cooled me off. That sucked so bad because the bed in the bed room was very comfortable I would loved to have slept on it"

"Pros: - Good for all ages (couples, children, etc) - A lot of room types - Historic feel, character - Multiple pools Cons: - Our a/c unit was making a loud sound so we had trouble sleeping our 1st night, but the staff moved us the 2nd night to a better room and we slept great - We couldn't find 2 lounge chairs available at the adults only pool (so we went somewhere else) - When it's hot, the resort is spread out and it's uncomfortable to walk far"

"Loved everything about this stay. From the freshly baked cookies from Micheal, to the smooth check out process, this was great. Easy to find and the weather was just perfect. We really enjoyed all the kitchen appliances and patio furniture that was included in our stay. Will definitely stay again with more family."

"This is my second time staying at this beautiful property. I love the Tranquility room, it is spacious, comfortable and on the first level, with direct access to the great deck overlooking their great views. We love that is pet friendly, their kitchen is very well stocked with them providing coffee, creamer, eggs and toast (for you to make, there is no staff at property) for guest use. My biggest and only complaint is the a/c unit, they have an old school window unit and sure wish they would upgrade to a mini split, current unit is quite loud and right by bed, it has a tendency to keep me awake or wake me pretty often, property is still worth 5 stars but I hope in the future they make the change. We will probably still be back whenever possible, thank you Tucker Lodge."
