"The Look and Feel of The Siren is so different then other hotels we have been to. It was a great experience to stay and enjoy Downtown Detroit and feel immersed into what makes Detroit Detroit. The cafe offerings tasted great. If we had more time we would have visited the Candy Bar (Jazz Bar) or the wine room (Snacks and Wine). But no complaints after our stay. Staff was super friendly at check in. Valet service - while expensive - was accommodating in figuring out how to pay without a phone number (as the app expects a phone number)"

"The staff was exceptional however the pictures posted on the website are very deceiving. The hotel lobby is very small and the rooms are big with a washer and dryer. The bed linen and towels and washcloths were all STAINED. They moved to another room on the 10th fl and still the same concern, the linen- filthy and the door did not have a lock. We had to use the flap the secure the door. The location is prime with the less expensive with a parking fee. When offering coffee, decaf should be avaliable along with coffee creamer. "

"There is a close Q-Line stop at Ferry St, which gives easy free access to all the bars restaurants and arenas/stadiums off of Woodward Ave. Very convenient. "

"Weirdest hotel i have ever stayed at. When GPS told me i had arrived, i couldnt even find the hotel. Its like an old apartment building that has been remodeled. No signage. Nothing to draw your attention that this is the place you need to be. Had to call to get in. Man answers the phone and says hell be there in 15 to open t.he door !?!? I misswd the fine print on how to check in. There is no onsite manager. No onsite house keeping. Room was clean, but there wasnt any tissues and no toilet paper holder. Just a roll of TP on the back of the toilet. There wasnt any shampoo or condition.... well there was an open bottle of head and shoulders in the shower... The shower gell they provided had gunk all over the tubes. No way to change the temperature of the room- no thermostat was in the room. It was hotter than Hades! On top of that, i was charged way more money than what i reserved the room for online! It should be interesting trying to get my money back. I have another trip to Detroit in April. I was going to stay here then. But i quickly canceled that reservation. Never again! "

"It is what it is! The place is spartan, I had to sweep the floor in my room, figure out how to rig the window open because the room was sweltering hot (on a 48 degree day), and go buy a towel so I could take a shower. It’s such a cool neighborhood though that I would stay here again. "
