"I have stayed in this Hotel many times now, with my wife, my children and alone - it is the first place past the tunnel and does not look appealing from the outside. In fact it looks like something from the 1970s - but do not let that put you off - The staff, the flexibility make up for the look. The staff are what makes it- want a drink at 1am, no problem, want a pizza for the kids, no problem - want to practice some French- they will speak French even though their English is probably better than your own- -- and the French CRS Police use is it for their meetings and training sessions - it is probably the safest place in Europe- these guys are smart, polite and always around doing whatever it is they do - and I have never felt as safe in a hotel. These guys are fit, armed and look like they mean business. And they are always in this hotel. They do not interact, other than a friendly hello, but you feel very safe. I love this hotel - it may not look pretty, but the staff are excellent and the food, while not fancy is very good value for money. - I have paid a lot more in the UK and France and got a lot less, _ I will stay here again,"

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful, helping us source a garage, making us feel comfortable and welcome the whole time. "We stay at this hotel a few times a year as a midway stop off. It has really nice staff, many speak english but even the staff who don't are friendly and we find a way to communicate. It is always nipping clean, nice towels and linens. It does breakfast and dinner as extras and it always looks smashing😊 Has free secure parking."
