"For a very old hotel, it was wonderful! The staff was fantastic and took care of things better than we would have expected. They were all very friendly. Our waitress Maggie, took good care of us and the manager Michael got us a drink even though the bar was about to close for the night. We would definitely stay at the Terrace Inn again."

"We found the Hotel Earl of Charlevoix to be a gem! Our room was clean and cozy, and the staff was super helpful and quick to answer any questions. The breakfast of hot waffles was tasty, but what really made our stay special was the electric vehicle (EV) charging stations right there. They made our first trip from Central Virginia to Northern Michigan in our EV so much easier and less stressful. Plus, the hotel’s great spot near downtown Charlevoix was a big plus. We could just walk around Charlevoix, and the on-site EV charger was a huge convenience, since we also had to commute a few times to Petoskey for our daughter. We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Earl of Charlevoix and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a luxurious hotel experience in the Petoskey and Charlevoix area."

"The pool was not open and specifically asked the lady at the front desk if it was heated since it was outside. She informed me yes it was a heated pool but didn't inform me it was closed when I asked. My daughter was all excited got ready we went to the pool to find out it was closed. The front desk attendant gave us zero information."

"Last minute booking for a quick overnight. Everything was easy and comfortable. I arrived after the office was closed but I called and they sent me my room access code by text. Honestly, I like having an access code better than a key. I wasn't there very long but Boyne City looks charming. If I were staying a while I think the Boyne City Motel would be a good place to stay and enjoy the town. It was within walking distance of the shops with a nice park across the street, not far from Lake Charlevoix and had good parking."
