"We loved our stay here. Lovely room with very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We had a room overlooking car park but it was cooler than sea facing rooms. Good hairdryer but kettle only on request. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner with lots of choice. Only complaint was just one very slow coffee machine. Pool area was lovely and very clean. Great location just behind the beach"

"Cannot recommend this hotel enough. A beautiful historic property with modern, but still very elegant rooms. The overall ambience was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Most importantly, the staff was absolutely fantastic. Nick and Helena truly make you feel at home and are constantly working to meet their guests' needs. And the rest of the staff (especially Sol) were just as attentive. And thank you to Nick for the sushi box!! :)"

"Starting with the positive, this hotel truly shines when it comes to its proximity to the beach and local attractions. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. However, our recent stay was unfortunately marred by a series of issues that impacted our experience. In one of our rooms, we encountered a clogged shower and a broken air conditioning unit, making for an uncomfortable stay. The refrigerator was also noticeably dirty upon arrival. In the second room, the AC unit was leaking. These maintenance issues are simply unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Considering we booked this hotel specifically for its beach amenities, we were severely let down, for two out of our four days, the hotel ran out of beach towels by 10 AM, with staff unable to provide any estimate for when more would be available. Furthermore, the hotel's beach chairs were completely claimed by 5 AM every morning, forcing us to pay for external chairs daily. This completely negated one of the primary reasons we chose this hotel. To compound these problems, the hotel staff seemed indifferent to our concerns. When we brought these issues to their attention, while they addressed them, there was a distinct lack of empathy or urgency to resolve them. A more friendly and proactive approach from the staff would have gone a long way in mitigating our frustration. While the location is undeniably a major draw, the multitude of problems was notable. "The villa is located in a private area. Everything was really clean and breakfast was great. The pool was really nice and all of the people were kind and caring. The beach was really close to the villa. The villa was also located in a quiet and nice place, still close to the center. The host, Mel was very kind, caring and positive, thanks to him and all the staff. "

"The pools were dirty, especially the indoor pool. We had to leave a day early. We alerted the staff to this when we checked in. They said it wasn't a problem and had us fill out a form. When we we checked out, they said they were going to charge us for the day we weren't staying."
