Well loved hotel but quite clean! Staff was incredibly nice. I enjoyed having an exterior door in addition to the main door to make it easy for fresh air, a quick run out to the car, etc. I also appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room. As a solo female traveler, for the couple of days I was there it suited my needs well. Will be back.

The staff was friendly, we called a week prior to request an early check-in and we were told that it will was marked on are file, it was confirmed. We showed up and we are told it will be about 15min wait which was not big deal. After the short wait we were giving the keys to a dirty uncleaned/unmade room…. We then went back to the lobby & had to wait another 10 mins or so to get a different room. The room had marks on the headboards…, stains on the lamps, gross stains on the floor, and the beds were made but not well, it looked like the blankets were just thrown up. I will say the staff was very kind & friendly but other than that I would not recommend.

The property definitely needs a renovation as it is beginning to look rather worn out. However for the most part it was clean and we definitely felt safe staying there. We were able to check in early which was greatly appreciated since we had a wedding that evening and knew would not get back until 11:00 pm. I definitely want to give the hotel credit for doing what is reasonable to support a guest. However, there are definitely short comings in the service department. What was the most frustrating was breakfast. Sausage and eggs were out and I had to track down a staff member. It eventually was refilled. When I had a question pertaining to whether or not the scrambled eggs were gluten free he had no idea (unfortunately flour can be added as a thickening agent). Which in it by itself is not something overly alarming as its a common theme throughout the industry. I asked him if he could let me know what the ingredients were, he said, "sure". However, he never did so even though I was in the breakfast room after he returned several times. The "real problem" was he was on his phone nearly every time I saw him. I am not one who believes in iron clad rules that forbid personal phone calls during work but when it interferes with your ability to provide customer service it does need to be addressed.
