"The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils and has a peaceful view of the garden and the meadows beyond. The bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is very quiet at night, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. The owners are a lovely couple who are friendly and who also respect...

Top Braintree Hotel Reviews

Holiday Inn Express Braintree by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Only stayed 1 night and was out by 3am so can’t really give a proper review"

Hampton by Hilton London Stansted Airport

8/10 Good

"The clean room and great staff are a plus. However, the food wasn’t to my taste and I wish they offered more amenities than just a gym. It’s a bit of a letdown if your layover is longer than 24 hours as there’s nothing much to do. Overall, it’s a good hotel."

The Fellows House Cambridge, Curio Collection by Hilton

8/10 Good

"Really appreciated that they had on site parking (at a cost) and a laundry room that allows people to wash clothes. The property seemed clean and well maintained. Food at the restaurant was just okay for the price point and although everyone was very nice, service was a bit slow and forgetful."

Wilde Cambridge City Centre

10/10 Excellent

"Great location, we used the Castle Hill car park, that was a 15 minute walk, but cheaper. Before going, I checked that I could leave our baggage in reception and the response was quick and helpful. The rooms were lovely and spacious for the three of us. All the extra’s, like body wash, shampoo etc smelt lovely. Nice to have decent toilet roll. Loved the kitchen with the dishwasher, fridge & coffee machine. Would definitely stay again."
