Stayed in an eco safari tent and it was just that! Inconsiderate people next door were niosy until about 11:30pm and you can here every noise and word around the park in these tents including traffic which feels like its coming through the sleeping area! Bedding was nice and comfortable for the couple of hours sleep i got. I could only think what it would be like on a hot summers night or a freezing winters night as heating and cooling was limited. For the price of accommodation i expected much better and this being the most memorable accommodation to date for all the wrong reasons!

Great chalets in the woods
We were very impressed with the chalets, they were roomy, clean & comfortable and had everything that we needed! The location was good & the caravan park as a whole was great! Although lots of kids there, it was very quiet We’ll definitely return

Girls Weekend Away
My daughters went down with 3 x 20 somethings and 4 x 15yr olds. They had a terrific time! Loved the atmosphere and the tent was perfect. They did miss having a fire outside the safari tent though...what happened?

Pleased your girls weekend was a success and they enjoyed the stay in our park and especially the safari tent. Unfortunately due to the closeness of the surrounding bush, fires at the safari tents are not allowed. We still have our communal fire pits though.

It has changed since being taken over by RAC. There is no longer camp fires in front of each safari tent. We spoke with management and they told us to us the community fires. So we carried all our equipment there and which was so far from our tent, cooked our lunch and were told off as they said there was no fires before 6pm! We said there was no where that stated this and they told us they forgot to put the sign up saying this and would go out it up now. 6pm to start a fire was too late to cook dinner for our young kids. It was dark, cold and the fire wasn’t able to be used until 8pm to cook as we had to wait our turn. Site works were happening on cabins next to us and the noise was not what we were used to in a “nature” camping experience. Not friendly, not at all like it used to be. We won’t be returning.

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your return visit to RAC Margaret River Nature Park. As a Dept of Bio-security, Conservation and Attractions lease we need to adhere to their fire restrictions which stipulate camp fires are only allowed in designated fire pits and currently between the hours of 6pm and 10am. The property does need some well overdue upgrades and unfortunately we have a small time frame to do these. We are sorry for any inconvenience you had. We would like to welcome you back at some time in the future.

We stayed in the Eco Safari Tent, the reception was very helpful, it was spacious with the childrens bunk beds being in a separate room, it was peaceful and very relaxing. The communal ammenities were clean, the camp kitchen was clean spacious and had everything needed, the grandchildren had a great time on the playground and the nature walks. Will go back

Don't follow Google's directions.
Lovely place. Well setup. But of course you get the occasional tossers who get up at 5 and don't understand how to be quiet. Annoying but not a biggie(: Google wants you to take a 4wd track to get there. Your car needs good clearance if like me you're silly enough to follow them. Just ring the lodge for directions. It's easy and good roads.
