I can’t fault this place. Superb in every way possible. Reception staff, restaurant staff all exemplary. Food unbelievable, beautiful grounds surrounding property and 5* rooms. Will be back

This is my second stay here and it's not my last. This hotel looks unremarkable from the outside but it is beautiful on the inside. Beautiful, warm & cosy cottage with everything there that you need. A lovely woodburner in the lounge, kept us warm & toastie. Very spacious accommodation, very clean. The property is a few minutes drive from Hadrian’s Wall which was worth visiting. We also hired a canoe on Talkin Tarn. The inn is in the village of Talkin on the outskirts of Brampton. We didn’t stop in Brampton itself.
