"Our room had one very small bar soap, and one roll of toilet paper end it only ice to purchase no ice machines. We had instructions to empty our trash prior to leaving. No housekeeping! The “lifeguard “ was sleeping in her chair and the pools were a lot smaller than depicted on their website. The location is a little less than desirable. Through winding roads with Less than desirable homes surrounding the facility. The only decent thing was the free paddle boards and kayaks. We’ve been going to Branson every year for 25 years and I can safely say this will be our first and last time staying at Stillwater’s."
"Received POOR Customer service! I, 81 yr old disabled father and my 12 yr old Granddaughter. Booked a room with 3 queen beds. Normally there is a place to make special request during the booking process but didn't see it on this page.At check-in I asked if the room was handicap friendly and if it was at least a ground floor room because neither my father or I can climb stairs. The clerk said it was a second floor room, then changed it to ground floor but wasn't equipped with handicap features. Upon arriving at the room, I discovered the clerk had changed my room to a Standard 2 queen bed room. Returned to the office and was informed that they no longer had any of the 3 bed queen rooms available. As I stood contemplating what I was going to do now, the clerk then tells me someone just happened to cancel and he can put me in that room and then gave me a handheld suction handle to assist with enter/exit of the tub. The room was CLEAN and would consider adequate for most Wishing to rent this type of room but I do not recommend it for anyone that needs assistance getting in/out of tub or up/down off very low toilets. I did not appreciate the clerk changing my 3 bed room to a 2 bed room. I also didn't appreciate him lying to me regarding vacancy of the 3 bed room that I had booked, after checking in I looked on this site and there were still 12 of the 3 bed rooms vacant and 5 of them were next to the room he gave me. I checked again the next morning and there was still 7+ vacant."
"We had viewed all the advertisements for the property at Stormy Point Village. On all the listings for the property it spoke about the water park pool that they had. This was definitely the reason we picked this property. Since we had different age children that would be coming with us. Giving all of them a way to enjoy the pool. When we arrived to check in we were asked if anyone had told us that the water park pool was closed and it had not been open all season which we were down there the second week of June. I told them that it was t he main reason we had picked their property. There was no concern from the property that we had not been told that the water park pool was closed. We then went to check out the other outdoor pool that they had. It was a very small pool and it was very dirty. It remained dirty during the first three days of our stay. This was a very disappointing stay especially for the price that we paid. We will check out the other resorts that have water park pools."
