"We enjoyed our stay here … check-in was easy and quick. All the staff members we interacted with were friendly, professional and kind. The breakfast was good and the staff worked diligently to keep everything stocked and clean. The rooms are very small but up-to-date and comfortable. As with other hotels, only shampoo and body wash is provided (no hair conditioner or lotion). Happily, Kleenex tissues are included, as is a hairdryer. Ice is available in the lobby. We did not try the lounge bar but it looked inviting. The location is walkable to the main sites in Trier - about 20 minutes thru nice neighborhoods. There is a nice walking trail along the river behind the hotel with a restaurant or two."

"As if being in a castle isn’t awesome enough, the staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. The grounds and rooms were exceptional. Gorgeous. The restaurant for dinner had amazing food and service. I honestly can’t say enough about this property. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, whatever best ratings I can possibly give for a hotel - I bestow upon this hotel. You absolutely MUST stay here, even if for just a day. It’s totally worth it! "

"Lovely hotel with lovely staff. It’s walkable to the old town but not close. Having a car would be better in this location or taxi’s, which are readily available. We drove all around Germany and this was the easiest hotel to park. The staff is lovely and made our stay fantastic. "

"The rooms were very small and basic but contemporary and very clean. I hadn’t realised I wasn’t in the ‘main’ hotel but an annex a street away. I had to check in at one hotel and then walk about 800m to the next one which had no reception. It was rather noisy through the night with doors banging and noise from the stairs, but I presume that’s because it’s an airport hotel and people were coming and going. If you’re only staying to make using the airport easier, it’s fine. No idea what the other hotel would be like to stay at but when I got my key from there, there seemed to be a nice atmosphere. "
