Hotels near Brazos Valley African American Museum

"Hotel has very modern amenities, rooms were very spacious to relax and also to get some work done. Shower was about twice the size of other hotels, I really liked that and also the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers is a nice touch. Having a complimentary breakfast with stay, is very much appreciated. The staff was ver courteous, and the hotel was very clean. It had been sometime since I stayed at a Drury, and I was reminded why my family and I have always enjoyed our stay., "

"Cleanliness was so so, there was an old toothbrush left behind, the shower curtain looked very dirty. Parking was easy, air was good. I had to call multiple times as the people were making lots of noise then I ended up having to call 911 as someone was getting assaulted, I was worried for that persons life. "

"The air conditioner was not functioning and the room was a bit warm. The toilet got clogged when we used it. The surrounding area is not very attractive. "

The front desk staff member was inexperienced and refused to refund charges after I reported issues with the room. Staff offered another room but I refused to stay in the room and booked with another hotel. There were random people standing around outside and working on cars in the parking lot. "

"About 20 min from A&M campus, further than i expected. Staff was not very polite, much less friendly. Place felt run down and the area didn't feel the safest."
