"Check in was very simple. As soon as we walked in I noticed how clean and nice smelling the cabin was. The bathroom especially was an upgrade from my last glamping experience. I appreciated the S'mores kit and firewood which is included with the resort fee. I appreciated how the marshmallows were vegan, something that is usually overlooked. They still melted exceptionally well. The staff were very responsive via text and allowed us to have a late check out. Next time I'll probably book the cabin with just the one queen bed in it as it could be a tight space unless you are traveling with children. My husband, at 6'1" had a bit of a challenge getting up to the top bunk which we didn't especially need, but I got because I was a little worried in terms of safety and being in a bed right next to the large window. Once I got there, I realized there was nothing to worry about and I wouldn't necessarily need that other bed up high. They provide all the cooking utensils you need, the fridge is a decent size. Foil is also provided. A kettle too if you want to make tea or coffee. Their toiletries are great. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and it's clear the staff here really take into consideration your experience and work to make it as pleasurable as possible. "I stayed here as a part of a solo hiking trip to Hocking Hills, and I could not have been more impressed. The price was exceptional (two nights for less than the price of one elsewhere). And to be clear, this isn't a high-end place with a ton of frills. But there is more than enough to make it a tremendous value. My only interaction with staff was professional and quick. The public areas are well apportioned...reasonably clean with plenty of light. I even went to the patio area my first morning and the views were great. The room was incredibly clean. Spotless. The bathroom and shower were the same. Even the corners and inside the microwave and fridge. I've read some complaints about the bed being uncomfortable. Mine was absolutely fine...a bit on the soft side, but nothing at all uncomfortable. Breakfast was lean...a waffle maker but no other hot items. But what they had (prepackaged muffins, granola bars, cereal) was fine. The coffee was also very good. This is a place which is a hidden gem and, if I'm ever in the area again, whether solo, or with family, I will be staying here. Kudos to the staff and students of Hocking College for running such a good institution."

"The night of our arrival, we discovered that the toilet in our room was broken/not flushing. The front desk was able to accommodate us and moved us to another room without any issue. For that we are very grateful. Additionally, the breakfast was very good each morning. We will be staying here again if we ever return to Hocking Hills again!"

She even gave us several doggie goodie bags for our pups! We felt safe and away from a bad situation. Everything was clean and well maintained."
