Clean and affordable
One night stay. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean. Good if you travel by car (there is a big partking behind the hotel). Otherwise the hotel looks strange and dated, but it was a good catch for a one-night stay. I would recommend it for budget travelling.

very friendly stuff, fabulous breakfast with local delicacy. location is convenient and close to a very big shopping center. would like to recommend to anyone staying in Bremen!!!

The Novum Garden Hotel is located close to trams lines into Bremen. It is a well maintained hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast is large and has variety in its offerings. A very nice place to stay in Bremen. The airport is about 15 minutes away by taxi.

Warm!
The hotelroom was very warm! No air conditioning in the room so we had to open the windows. Because the hotel is situated near a busy road this is not an option. We stayed in April...can’t imagine how warm it will be in summer! Hotel is in walking distance of a shopping mall with a lot dining options.

Nice place to stay and very friendly receptionists
I was pleasantly surprised. Since the house is large it´s far from the street and you do not hear the tram . All the employees are friendly and helpful. They serve a plentiful breakfast for just below Euro 10. The room is small but I had all I needed. It is peaceful and I slept well. A bottle of mineral water awaited me and the front desk offers guests fresh fruit every day plus easter eggs. They accommodated me when I found out that the room I had booked was on the 4th floor and I would have had to climb stairs. I got a room on the ground floor for a surcharge. Since I was staying during the Easter holidays I noticed some neighbors grilling. Only one night was disturbed by next door guest who took a long shower at midnight. Around the hotel are a few benches where guests can sit to get some fresh air. The huge shopping center "Waterfront" is 2 stops by tram from the hotel and one can walk along the river Weser as well. Much better than anywhere in the city as far as I am concerned. Overall I can say that I recommend this hotel. I recommend Hotel Novum Garden Bremen. It is a good value for the price! Actually I stayed 2 more nights!

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar were closed during my stay. Breakfast was good, but a bit over priced. Car park is not secured, evidence of broken glass on the ground. Near to the big shopping mall and local transport. Local area was a bit run down.

Long weekend stay for Christmas Market
Hotel is approx 15 to 20 mins by tram to city centre and 5 mins from Riversite Shopping Centre. Tram stop close to hotel., The tram syxtem makes it easy to get around the city and a week ticket costs €22-23 which can be purchased at the airport.if you don't like using APP type guides then a guise book can be purchase on arrival in airport of tourist shopd. Not available in UK. A tour of the old Town Hall tickets from tourist information,stroll round the square includind Town Hall Musicians and Roland Statue, a visit to St Peter's Church and tower are a must. The Schnoor Quarter is attractive picturesque and full of art, craft boutiques, souvenir shops and restaurants. Bottcherstrasse is another must with handcraft shops and restaurants. The carillon of 30 porcelain bells is also in this street. Spend 10 mins to listen and watch the moving panels to the left. Werder Bremen Football Club offer tours and has a small museum. I alao managed to catch a match. River tours availavle but only weekends during winter. Universum Scirnce Centre has plenty of fun based science activities which will keep children entertained.

Nice Hotel in an Industrial setting
I thought this was a perfectly nice hotel but in a somewhat run down industrial area, There is some free street parking close to the hotel but with the No3 Tram line stop in sight of the Hotel we used public transport all stay long. You can buy an Erlenis card which gives 1,2,3 days unlimited travel within Bremen for 1,2 or 3-5 people (you purchase one card, not fort each person). I found the beds very comfortable and the room was quiet and very clean. Some reviews complain the bathroom is small, which it is, but perfectly adequate for my stay. Good hot shower, lots of towels. No fridge in room or tea making facilities. I found the Wi-fi adequate. very limited English language channels on the TV. Plenty of storage in my room. I did not have the breakgast or eat here but I was very happy with myh stay which was fairly priced considering it was festival weekend and city centre hotels were charging much, much more. There us a big shopping centre and Lidle just a 5 minute tram ride away, Spotless throughout and helpful front desk. Price of cold drinks are sky high so bring your own. PC available in Lobby which was pleasantly furnished. I would stay here again aqnd I knew about its industrial location before I booked and it did not bother me. Had a great sleep

noisy busy good for someone who likes drinking and loud crowd. reception staff instead of checking your details they photocopy your passport even if told they r not aloud to that.

Convenient and clean
The hotel was well signposted and very easy to find and convenient for the city. We ate in the restaurant on two occasions and both times the food was very good and reasonably priced. We stayed in a standard room which was quite small but adequate. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. There was no fridge or Kettle but they will keep things for you which need to be refrigerated and we had a Kettle of our own so not a problem.

Our intentional plan was to stay on a house boat at the River Weser. Unfortunately the boat was so tiny it did not even had room to get our luggage into there. And instead of an kitchenette, there was only a water-cooker. We changed our plan and ended up in the Garden Hotel in Bremen. I was asking the staff, if I could warm up the wonderful food that I had prepared, by using the microwave, located at the hotel breakfast room. While most suddenly the hotel restaurant cook showed up, Telling my fiancé and me, the he will prepare the food for us, we just had to tell him, the time we would like to have it. In the evening, We had the most wonderful spaghetti with original Spaghetti sauce a la Napoli together with our favorite red wine in our hotel room in privacy. Such terrific friendliness we haven’t experienced in the past, even while traveling a whole lot. We would like to highly recommend that Hotel. Another advantage is, that there are 2 Tram stations in walking distance to the hotel, one goes right to the Bremen city Center (Tram NR.3), And the other one goes right to the Bremen Main Train station, (Tram NR.10).

Pleasantly Surprised
Our room was spacious and very clean. Décor was very retro but fine. The tram stop was a very short walk from the hotel and a short ride to central. Good value for the money. I would recommend this hotel.

Wir haben das Hotel für eine Übernachtung mit 3 DZ gebucht. Die Zimmer waren alle für eine Standard Übernachtung zweckmäßig. Nicht besonders schön, aber sauber und ordentlich. In vielen Bereichen hat man gemerkt, dass das Hotel für z.B. Monteure ausgerichtet war, dem einfachen Stil nach zu urteilen. Auch der Empfang und Rezeption war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war außerordentlich gut und günstig. Alles frisch und top aufgefüllt - so wünsche ich mir das immer! Selbst auf einem Sonntag war das Frühstück schon kurz nach 6 Uhr fertig (Dickes Lob!!)
