We stayed here to be close to our Costa Cruise ship embarkation point. The staff were the best part of our stay though the property was very nice and clean and we loved our room. They don't serve lunch but the breakfast and dinner were excellent. I would stay here again for sure.

Air Conditioning was on with no cooling.
I booked this hotel specifically for the Air Conditioner. It was around 65 F outside and at least 75 inside the room. We left for a few hours hoping the AC would cool the room but there was no improvement. When I complained I was told "Germany doesn't have AC like Americans expect. The law says we can only cool the room to 5 (or 10?) degrees C above the outside temperature. I have heard this many times. It made me feel like they were actually heating the hotel. We were on the street and did not want to leave the window open due to the noise, so she gave us a room on the 1st floor facing the water. Unfortunately due to security and the shared balcony with the whole floor we could not leave the door/window open at night.

Great hotel with a great location
The superior room was very comfortable for 3 people. We faced the river and had a wonderful view. The water pressure in the shower was spectacular! The breakfast was very good also. I would stay here again.

You live only once......
Well, for business you can forget it. Internet does not work, throws you outevery 5 min. Breakfast is a kinder garding arrangement. Dinner impossible unless you arrange one day before. Garage only for small cars lije Mini. If you have Mercedes you cannot open doors. Staff looks like los. If you keep offering hotels like that for high proce this is a last time I used your service.

Regarding the wifi, we are currently already working on the wifi connection and the signal strength of our access points so it should be better soon. Regarding breakfast and dinner, we are currently not allowed to offer as many tables as before Covid-19 so that a reservation becomes necessary; same as in most restaurants outside the hotel. A great first-time stay!
Great location and very convenient private car parking underneath. I booked a suite which was a very nice room, large with a good size desk to work at, large bathroom and access to the large balcony/terrace that wraps around the top floor of the building - the other suites also have access to this area. The bar is very cosy and the barmaid was very friendly and made an excellent Old Fashioned for me! I had a good dinner in the restaurant too and the hotel is located in a great position overlooking the port and sea with easy access to the town centre. I will most definitely be staying here again on any future trips to Bremerhaven.

Decent but can be improved
Hotel reception staff is very good. They provide excellent customer service and are very friendly. Same for the bar staff on 5th floor. There was mould on the bread during breakfast. The staff replaced it but the hotel should not be serving these things. The drain was not working in the shower so it was always flooding. Air conditioner did not work.

Perfect Hotel
The Liberty Hotel is lovely. There is a great breakfast with a lovely view of the river. The rooms seem new and are clean. I will stay here again. The location is perfect.

Could be amazing but misses the mark
Super location for all tourist activities, great parking and amazing breakfast. Lots of attention to little details in the room aiming for luxury. Unfortunately, neither our Internet nor Our air-conditioning worked. As the location is Northern, opening the window would've solve the problem but the room shares a common balcony with all of the rooms causing and privacy and safety concern is the window/door was left open. This is only a problem for the Harborside rooms for which we paid extra.

Superb accommodating hotel
New hotel, the rooms were brilliant and the service excellent. The hotel sits on the river and there is plenty of bars, restaurants and places to visit within walking distance. Really good price for the quality of the hotel. They even went out of the way to provide a take-away breakfast as we left at 4.30am before the kitchens were open. Will not hesitate to stay there again.

Perfectly located for two day stay
Good views over the river, superb breakfast, powerful WiFi & safe bike storage. Do eat nearby - 5 minutes walk, at the Asian Wok bistro, freshly cooked dishes in a spotless setting with flowers everywhere - also enjoyed an excellent diner at Pier 6.

Man könnte die Lüftung im Bad mehr als einmal im Jahr sauber machen. Der Staub kam schon aus der Abdeckung raus. Die WLAN stabilität in der 5ten Etage war kaum bis gar nicht gegeben. Sehr viele Abbrüche und der Zwang sich neu anzumelden. Sonst war alles sehr gut, top Sauberkeit, tolles Personal und sehr gutes Frühstück. Wenn man etwas verbessern könnte, außer den zwei oben genannten Punkten, wäre es die Einführung eines internetfähigen TVs.
