"We stayed one night at Villa Rêverie and it was an absolute delight. The bed was extremely comfortable, offering one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had while travelling. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful — truly the best service experience we’ve received. Breakfast was outstanding: a full buffet with plenty of variety, featuring the most delicious scrambled eggs and perfectly crisp bacon. The freshly squeezed orange juice and smooth cappuccino were the perfect start to our day. A wonderful stay from start to finish — highly recommended! "

"Every now & then, you find an absolute Gem, this was most certainly 1 of those occasions, the service at reception was simply outstanding both upon arrival & today on departure, all staff were extremely welcoming & friendly & although we knew no Italian (which is shameful English education system) they all spoke in good, clear English, the food was simply superb, every dish was cooked & presented in perfection, the immediate area around the hotel grounds was meticulously maintained, we chose a room with a partial lake view, but, in fact, it had a superb view & we were in awe. Of the whole feel & vibe of the place, both Caroline & I would like to express our heartfelt warmth & gratitude for the superb attention given throughout our stay, each & everyone we met & spoke to were great ambassadors to your Hotel, thank you, thank you, thank you, hope to see you again in the future."

"Very nice hotel , easy to find , have parking restaurant with amazing views, little other places around to go for drink or food . very good price would go back again. Very important that ferry is just there and you can go and visit other places."

"Gorgeous property, location, amenities, hospitality and food! Only wish is if hotel had a bar to sit at. The hotel has a full bar and a library to sit where they serve drinks, but cannot sit at the bar. Overall, cannot wait to return someday. The view was picture perfect and the service was top notch."

"Hotel Beretta is in an ideal location in Varenna. Easy access to the ferries and the train. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of options. Some rooms have balconies that have beautiful lake views. There is a great restaurant on the ground floor as well. "
