"Very simple: it is hard to book in Yosemite Valley on short notice. This hotel is the nearest to the entrance and just 30 minutes from the Yosemite Valley. As a bonus, there is a beautiful river that runs right behind the hotel. We always stay in the Valley but decided to go on short notice and try this hotel. It worked out very nicely. Location, location. "
"Aweful stay, the alarm went off when we were there and it took 2-3 hours before we got help, waiting in a phone line for hours. The provided code to the apartment did not work and later there was a poweroutage, why we opted to leave the place earlier than planned, because there was not way of reaching the owners with no internet, phone service. Overall spent way too much time on stuff that you don’t want on a vacation.
On top of this the operator “grand welcome” texted us multiple times for payment of the place, even though it was 100% prepaid, and they did confirm so.
