"I was in a single room and it didn't cost much. It was fairly basic but had everything I needed and I was happy enough. What I really loved was the breakfast. It was top notch. I was travelling for business but am now thinking of returning to the area for a short break and another brilliant breakfast. I had a bit of spare time and took a walk in the lovely park just near the hotel, it was huge and very well maintained. I plan to return there with the kids. I had been worried about parking at the hotel as they only have a few spaces but there is a large car park just behind the hotel which was free after a certain time and seemed fairly reasonably priced for such a central location. "

"Having read some less than positive reviews, we were a little bit sceptical about our stay. However, I can say nothing but good things about the hotel, our room, whilst not the biggest was clean, neat and tidy, the bar was lovely as was the dining room and the staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely stay there again. Only downside was the expensive car parking which is operated by a third party on the hotels land"
