I have stayed here multiple times. The front desk was not friendly. She checked us in early, however, it seemed like we were putting her out. No smile Not friendly so a bit disappointing. Our checkout girl was warm, friendly and very kind. I understand when you arrive early you can’t always have a room. It would have been fine had that been the case. I have done this job, I know it can be challenging. I have other options to stay in the Windsor area. I probably will look elsewhere next visit.

There was a good continental breakfast. The exterior of the building was very unappealing. We had to clean urine stains from the floor and wall in the very tiny toilet/shower room. The room didn't even have a coffee maker. Wifi was unreliable. And we were greeted by a rat by our car that ran toward the office after we checked out. This all came at a cost of $224 (taxes in) for the night.

This mid century modern Inn has been upgraded extensively over the past year inside the rooms. The exterior was prepped for painting, scraped and power washed for this summer, but due to the heavy rains we lost our window of opportunity. The exterior will be completed 2024 now, and unfortunately we have to live with this look til then. There are three adults on site at all times to take care of your needs. We really appreciate when people reach out to us when they are here with any problem at all so we can address it. I find it patently unfair that even though on check in we make a real point of encouraging any feed back or needs that require attention in real time from our guests that some, like yourself would rather take it home with you and post it on social media. The floors are washed with every change of guest. Our cleaning staff would have been happy to take care of this for you. We have records of who did the rooms and if you provide us with the room you were in we can talk directly with that person.This property is located in a rural farming community and is located on several acres of property and bound by a forest to the east, south and west of us.There is an abundance of wildlife here. We have a number of squirels, chipmunks, cats, crows, racoons, blue jays, cardinals, but rats, not so much, however again we would have appreciated knowing about it while you were here.I am sorry you and your girlfriend who left the review below decided after trying to sneak out without paying to seek some kind of revenge in this manner.To be sure you are well remembered for your poor behaviour and on our black list of clients not welcome back.This is a home to us.Again

Guest needs are the first and foremost concern here at the Bridgetown Motor Inn. Upon check in we request that if you have any issues at all big or small that we have three adults on site to take care of your concerns. The fridges are new, along with the entire renovation of the hotel rooms over the past year. The walls are concrete block covered with insulation and drywall, so they are quite sound proofed. The outdoor corridor walk way by the windows does let sound in. If anything was of concern for you we would so have appreciated knowing about it in advance so we could take care of you, not afterwards on social media. Nothing we can do now.

There was rats all around vehicles and inside was not clean definitely not worth the price. When confronted k was told the rats aren’t there problem and they would leave my stuff outside and I could stay elsewhere. This was happening day of a wedding I was in, cops had to be involved as she stole my shoes out of my car and then blocked the car in.

Staff were amazing and so helpful. Lots of breakfast options too. There is very limited taxi service in the area though so I recommend booking a taxi in advance if you need one for your stay.

Motel is exactly as advertised, a budget clean place to stay. The owner is one of the most helpful person that we have come across on our travels. She is running a business and should be commended on that. Anything at all, she was there, with her beautiful dog of course. The dog is spoiled and being a dog lover good for her. Now back to the review. Motel rooms do show their age but are clean and everything needed for a budget motel stay. Internet went off a few times (like it seems to do all over Nova Scotia, but owner was there and got things right. Yes, I would recommend if you are looking for a place to stay knowing not a lot of bells and whistles. Wishing the owner, sorry I am terrible with names, every success for the future. I didn't get an opportunity to mention God's plan for all and hope she doesn't mind now. All the best to someone wanting her hard work to pay off. We will see you again and that friendly dog pal of yours.

I arrived to check in, no one was there. Once I was able to check in there was blood strains on the sheets. After reporting the blood stains on the bed and sheets, I was told I was banned from the Motel and yelled at by their manger. Beware and do not stay here!

Our rooms are meticulous. The Motel has been upgraded from the 60's to the modern day. Upon check in we requested any issues be brought to our attention while you are here, as there are three adults on site 24/7. To hear about an issue in the morning concurrent with you prepubescent girlfriend leaving the premises and your request for a refunds did not alighn with our clientele or our policies. We have been finding that the last minute guests from Expedia do not actually have the means to stay in this property and cause a lot of undue problems. We are reviewing our policies. There was no blood in the room prior to your visit or post your visit. You have been requested to never return here again.

It was difficult to get the booking directly on the phone as I could not understand the person who talked to me I overpaid with Expedia, it would have been cheaper if booked directly so what was the point of using Expedia and why was I charged in American $? Not good value for money The hotel needs a lot more renovations Breakfast was good The owner had a medical emergency so the door was closed and there was nobody at reception, she did try to contact me by phone but I did not answer as I did not recognize the number Once she arrived the owner was very nice and helpful once she arrived

Booking through third parties like Expedia is sometimes onerous, as they do employ people from all over the world in their call centers due to the 24-hour nature of the hospitality business. They provide a valuable service that allows people the flexibility to book anytime, anywhere in the world. It was a pleasure having you here, but please do not execute us due to your experience with a third party provider.

Continental breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed daily by you and your wife. We had many pleasant conversations. You enjoyed the outdoor patio areas and courtyard. Not once during your 5 day stay did you indicate any disgruntlement or make any requests we were unable to satisfy. If you were so unhappy we would have definitely refunded your money in order for you to go elsewhere. It was wonderful to hear about your golf games with your old military buddies and generally have you as guests at the Bridgetown Motor Inn.

Continental breakfast is served every morning from 7 am to 11 am in the Great Hall in the front Bungalow. Today the guests who were on motorcycles from Los Angeles, Toronto, and Persia said that it was better than the Hilton where they had stayed the night before. We are ongoing with our renovations and the room you booked had been set up for complete floor replacement. The TVs are Roku channels, which surf thousands of channels all over the world. You were given a card with your check-in package which outlined this. Sometimes it takes a bit to understand the main remote is only for on off and the second remote is for channel surfing.Lastly, there are four of us on site at all times to take care of your needs. We request all guests to call us any time 24/7 to remedy any issues they may have.Too bad you missed your breakfast. We were only a phone call away.Are you sure you stayed at the Bridgetown Motor Inn ?

Our exterior hallway around the courtyard of our Florida like Motel layout where the old pool was has big windows that face the U shaped courtyard, that open. Often in the summer these windows are opened by guests and the waft of voices can be heard through the windows. The walls are thick concrete block and sound proofed. Nothing is heard through the walls. We have been ongoing with our renovations and upgrades from the 70's decor to present day Ikea. We are maintaining the mid century modern characeter as best possible. The bungalow and the exterior of the Motel have been power washed to prepare for painting. Keep checking back and you will see our progress.

Our check in didn’t go smoothly. The front desk was closed when we arrived at 5pm. There was a note on the front door to call a phone number for assistance. There was no answer at that number. There was another number handwritten on the note so I tried that one and got an answer. I was told our key was in a mailbox next to the door. The box was unlocked and I was able to find the key amongst the other keys that were also in there unsecured. We took the key to the room and opened the door and were surprised to find other guests already in the room! I called the phone number from the door of the office and explained what was happening. A staff member came to find us in the parking lot with a key to another room. We went to the room and found it to be rather small and a bit run down. We turned down the comforter to lay down in the bed and found stains on the inside. It appeared to us that it was blood. We called the staff member and told her the bed was dirty. She came to look and saw the stains. We told her we were going to be leaving. I asked if we could have a refund. She said she would talk to the owner and the owner would give us a call that night. We weren’t contacted so I called the motel. The owner answered and said she made a mistake with the keys because she was tired. She also said the stains were probably not blood, maybe ketchup and hung up. We didn’t get a refund. We found another spot 56km further away. Leaving was still the right call for us.

The Bridgetown Motor Inn has recently upgraded all of the rooms and the duvets are drycleaned weekly at Vails in New Minas. You occupied the room for one hour, prior to leaving and the duvet was pulled down with the underside showing with ketchup stains and dirt stains, looking much like someone had lay down on it after a soccer match. The cleaning staff here are excellent and that room was thoroughly cleaned that day. We have 33 rooms and could have accomdated you in another room. They key issue was a 203 and 205 which looked similar without my glasses on. My mistake and my apology, however our on site person remedied that immediately. Some of your soccer team were at another location and it was understood you wanted to be with them. We have not processed your payment from Expedia to the Inn. The other 16 people from the soccer match that stayed here had an excellent stay, excellent fire, excellent continental breakfast and said this will be their go to spot next year when they are playing in Greenwood. Enjoy your summer.

Three staff members are on site at all times to take care of your needs. As discussed on check in anything you need, or any concerns you have please call us on the card with the number provided and they will be taken care of post haste. Your were provided with a receipt but were stymied by the amount on the receipt not matching the amount you paid with Expedia. The difference was explained to be with the charges they add for their extra quick services and marketing. Again, I must stress you agreed to reach out with any issues you had, not bring them up on social media the next day, in fact you even said you would never do that as you do not use social media. Well hope your new station in Greenwood is good to you and you find more peace than you did in Petawawa. We can't make everybody happy all the time.

First, the owner over charged me. The room had some kind of bugs on the rug and around the bed. The chairs were dirty and dark color so I felt like I couldn't sit for fear of bugs. The owner has a dog and it barked incessantly in the early morning. In the back of the motor inn; it looked like a homeless shelter. There were many people staying in one room and they were all sitting outside . It was very unnerving and it felt like there's was no privacy.

First we must express condolences at the loss of your family member. Most people at the memorial service enjoyed their stay and the complimentary continental breakfast. The head of one of the largest recreational resorts so loved their stay that they said "when they retired they would like to have and Inn just like ours" which based on their experience was a true compliment. They were so pleased they hugged me when they left. As stated at check in if there is anything at all you require at any time, or any issues of note please let us know while you are on the property, not after you leave on social media. Issues you have raised now would have been better dealt with while you were here. Hopefully the next time you come to visit your family it is under better circumstances and you feel better about things in general. Best to you.

All of the rooms have been recently upgraded from the early 70's to current modern day Ikea. Every room has been completely restored, painted, refurnished and freshened up. The exterior is on deck for this summer. We are keeping the mid century modern look and feel in the bungalow and have recently done the Great Hall conference centre in rustic fashion. So glad you enjoyed your continental breakfasts, especially the scrambled eggs prepared by Tiffany. Hopefully your house hunting in the Annapolis Valley went well and the tips passed on to you were helpful. Safe travels back to Calgary.
