"Unfortunately, the pool was closed and we are unsure why because we want to take our 10-month-old daughter to the pool for the first time however the bed was rather hard but for a brand new property that’s been open for a little over a month. This property is fantastic. I do hope that they keep it up. Keep pest control going. Keep dust down. Hallways are very quiet pillows could be a little firmer where they could give you four pillows versus three in the king room, but I have nothing bad to say. "

"We stay here overnight on our way to North Carolina Beaches. The staff is always accomodating and friendly.The rooms are well cleaned, and the beds are comfy. Breakfast is so-so, but there are other nearby options if that is important to you. There is a trolley ride around town, which the kids love. Historic downtown is within walking distance, with lots of restaurants and activities to do. "

"Easy check-in and the desk personnel were very informative and helpful. Room was very clean and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast here. You had a variety of choices for breakfast including hot or cold. The lady that was handling the food was extremely polite and says she "makes the meal with love". Be sure and check out Mrs. Rowes across the street and the Virginia Made store as well."
