The room was clean but it's very basic. I would equate it to a dorm room in style. The breakfast was good but did not have many gluten free options. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Nice place to stay for a week while we were visiting the town and the close by towns. The staff was always curious and helpful. Thanks to every one we had a present stay. We took multi day trips to near by towns Lecce, Otranto, Taranto and Ostuni.

Perfect location for early morning flights.

It’s no secret Ibis is a budget hotel. Keeping that in mind, I honestly was impressed with this hotel. Clean, comfortable, spacious, friendly and efficient and helpful staff. I chose this hotel the night before a very early flight as it is a 10 minute drive from the airport. It was very convenient.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. I guess the room was quite basic but it was very clean and the shower worked well. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels were very fresh looking. We were staying for one night as we arrived late to Brindisi and needed a place before moving on so it was perfect for our needs. I would definitely use it again.

Nice hotel for a short stay. Great staff.

The hotel is good. Room was large and bath updated. Found the door locks very odd. At first could not figure out how to lock. Must lock from outside, I guess. If I did it it right. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Requested a wake up call and got it as requested.

How could I say yes?

I was impressed with the service and the lobby. The building is also nice and well kept. Unfortunately, my room felt more like a dormitory; small quarters, which is okay, but the HVAC wasn't the best and the room was warm. I had the door open to the street from the small patio, but it was noisy. What made it truly feel like a dorm was the uncomfortable bed, the lack of comfort even in the pillows and the excessive noise. There were at least 4 to 5 times throughout the evening I heard loud banging on walls, people yelling, and others yelling back to 'please shut up!'. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed with the lack of sleep and doubt I'd stay here again.

Something about the linens/bed

Got to our room late at night and there was just a bad stench in the elevator and the room. You ever get that weird feeling that something is visibly clean but smelled funky? Pretty sure the pillows were used and we couldn’t bear to put our face on it to keep sniffing the body odor-type smell. We slept on our clothes and on the foot of the bed that night, stayed at a different hotel for the next night, then requested a room change for the third. The staff were so gracious, and they granted us the room change without much question. The service was exceptional overall. It really is a bummer that the linens and bedding in both rooms smelled like it was half washed then half dried in a closet… the second room was better than the first but it still wasn’t 100%. Kinda surprised that this is highly rated, I guess if you’re not particular with smells it’s fine for a couple days but that’s the kind of stuff that can really wreck a sleeping/resting experience
