This was the second time we have stayed at the hotel It is a lovely old large house and we strayed in a triple room with our daughter. Staff have always been very helpful and accommodating. Good cooked breakfast, comfortable room and we got a late check out for free. Would recommended for a stay in the Bristol area

Cooked breakfast expensive at £14.95, continental £12!! Parking good. Staff friendly and helpful. Centrally located for my needs, not too noisy at night. Opposite bus stop which serves both the centre of Bristol and Cribbs Causeway Mall. My room was in renovated stable block but better rooms in main building.

Traditional hotel, very peaceful and relaxing. Friendly and helpful staff. If you want a break from the usual sanitised modern hotels, this is a very good choice. Nice food and restaurant too!

Very tired room. Graffiti on the picture in the room plus a large hole/dent. Hotel smelled of sewage and front door was kept open clearly to get rid of it. The breakfast was middling with some of the worst sausages I’ve been served. Positives were the car park spaces and the staff were friendly.
