"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"Overall the location was great, 20 minute walk to the centre, or couple of stops on the bus. Bus stop just outside. Rooms were spacious and clean, although our bathroom could have been cleaner. Staff were excellent. Zak on the bar looked after our party when we wanted to watch the England semi final. He could not have been more helpful and friendly. Jade and her colleague-sorry for his name-we’re great too. Friendly and helpful. Great value too, we hadn’t realised it was graduation week and this put the other hotels we looked at out out of our price range. As above bathroom could have been cleaner and servicing of the room was hit and miss, with sometimes beds not remade, bins not emptied or cups changed when other servicing had taken place. This was the same for others in my party."
