"The staff was amazing from check-in, maintenance (shower handle broken), extra towels to checkout. Restaurants and shopping were all close to hotel, even bike and beach rentals. Virginia Beach Coffee was a favorite, just across the street diagonally, owners and dog Dixie made the morning better!"

"Unfortunately for us the room phone didnt work and we had flying bugs on the beds and in the bathroom. The staff was amazing and switched us rooms. It was not what we expected for the rate we paid. Overrated. "

"Parking was very limited we had to park across the lot from where our room was located. When we arrived to check in the office was locked and had a doorbell on the door to ring for service. Done that twice and nothing had to call to get service. Upon entering our room and within our stay there were numerous problems. We arrived to a roll of toiletpaper that had maybe 20 sheets on it. 2 towels one containing black stains on it and 1 washcloth given there was 2 of us with not a single handtowel. Called the office and was told for anything we needed we had to wait for the housekeeper to come in at 9 the next morning. We had to buy toilet paper from the 711 next door and each of us use the same towel and washcloth. The next morning i took the towels to the housekeeper he said he would take them to be washed and would bring them back in an hour he couldnt even switch out our towels. It was vacation so we was ouf for the day expecting to beable to shower when we returned. Still nothing had been replaced. I went to the office and was told the housekeeper was gone for the day and he had no more we would have to wait til he came in at 9 the next morning. Not to mention the next day we had check out at 11. The coffee pot hod no supplies or cups and the microwave was without the tray inside. The bed was made with a metal fram which was broken on the bottom corners causing a loud noises with all movement. The area was nice but overall the service and conditions of the room were terrible"

"Drove 12 hours to finally reach this hotel. Was told after calling 3 times to let them know I would be late arrival, finally arrived and they gave my room away…turned away… singled out intentionally, trip had been paid in full, I will never stay at another Marriott!!!! "

"This hotel was terrible! False advertisement. None of the kids amenities were open. Pool area was disgusting. I went to pull my sofa bed out and it was crumbs in the bed! Asked to switch rooms and was given an attitude from the front desk. I understand it was a busy weekend but to tell me to cancel my booking is insane. I would never stay here again. "
