"Title: Lovely Hotel, but Overpriced Entry-Level Room โ€‹We stayed at the Balmer Lawn Hotel for a work event. The hotel public areas are beautiful, the food was good, and providing a breakfast sausage for our dog was a really sweet touch. โ€‹However, ยฃ177 felt steep for a budget room with a view of a brick wall (you'd have to stand on one leg and hang out the window to see the New Forest!). A ยฃ30 nightly dog fee also felt excessive. We didn't get to use the spa, but overall itโ€™s a nice venueโ€”just disappointing on room value and pet charges."
